This is a deviled egg tray with a hand carved and painted chicken in the center modeled after my favorite chicken Blue. Blue is an easter egger chicken and they lay blue and green eggs and I used that as inspiration for the decoration. This plate is made with a cone 6 porcelain fired in an electric kiln.
