This painting is done in watercolor using objects from nature. After I painted the paper with a neutral watercolor wash, I dripped colors into the wash and waited for the sheen to be close to dry before I threw on some coarse pink salt. Then I laid each fragment on the paper and drew a simple line drawing. I painted with several layers of watercolor using observation.
