20th Annual Gala Juried Fine Arts Exhibition
at The Arts Center in Elkins, WV

Welcome Artists!

The Arts Center invites artists working in a variety of media to submit applications for our Annual Gala Juried Fine Arts Exhibition.

Details:

Media accepted shall be original, non-reproduced work not previously exhibited in the Great Hall Gallery at The Arts Center. We accept paintings, 2D, 3D functional and aesthetic, such as sculpture. 
Our exhibition offers emerging and established artists the opportunity to showcase their talents and latest works.  We are committed to organizing and promoting “excellence in art” and offering a distinguished platform for all selected artists.

How to Register:

  • Click the button (link) at the top right of the screen that says “Register.”
  • Create an account/user profile, including a password. Keep this info for future logons.
  • Once logged in, you will see “My Application Page.”  EACH piece of artwork is a separate submission.
  • Upload your entries/images.
  • You MUST click on blue button:  COMPLETE AND VIEW ENTRY
  • Double Check to see that all information is accurate, and the image successfully uploaded. To resize an image, watch the video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cLfrF2x_OA. 
  • The non-refundable registration fee is processed through a secure payment system using Visa or MasterCard. The fee covers up to 4 entries.

Selection process and artist notification:

The artistic work submitted by each artist is juried based upon the following criteria:

  1. Body of Work:  How well the images represent a point of view
  2. Artistic Theme:  Design, vision, creativity, originality
  3. Technical Execution:  Technique, skill, degree of difficulty, mastery of materials used

Sales Allocation:

The Arts Center is a non profit, 501c3, providing artists and our community with fine art. The Arts Center retains a courtesy commission on art sold for all members and non members. The artist will receive a check for the amount of the artwork, plus tax, less the Courtesy Commision.
 

Art Check-In:

July 26, 2021, 10 am to 3 pm
      Please label all entires with the submission receipt that the artists (you) print out on your end
     

Art Pick-Up:

September 27, 2021

Submission Deadline:

June 14, 2021, Deadline was extended to June 28. As of June 29, we are no longer accepting entries. Good luck! Stay tuned for the Fall Exhibit coming up next.

Artist Notification:

Artists will be notified at the email address on file with the ArtCall.org system.
